FESTOMANE Primary Renewable Energy Challenge 2016/17
As the new year begins we invite schools in the Stroud area (in particular those within the Hills and Valley cluster) to participate in the FESTOMANE sponsored Primary Renewable Energy Challenge. STEMworks will come to your school and run a renewable energy workshop where students design and build wind turbines. Pupils will then use their turbines to light a sign with the pupils’ own “spin” on the FESTOMANE logo.
Winning turbine and sign designs will be displayed at FESTOMANE’s main exhibition in February half term. Winning teams will also be invited to a second free STEM workshop at SGS College.
Contact STEMworks for more information and to book your free workshop on a first come first served basis (conditions apply).
