For any KS2 primary school teacher of Science. The course will equip you with bags of ideas for linking Science to other subjects especially numeracy, literacy and ICT. During the day you will try a range of real life science activities that can easily be taken back to school to use in your class and share with colleagues.

Aimed at Primary and Secondary Teachers who wish to improve their subject knowledge in National Curriculum Level 5 and 6 mathematics and explore engaging, practical and easy to use resources and approaches to learning. Ideal for teachers who are new to teaching Upper KS2 mathematics, non-specialists teaching KS3 classes or experienced teachers looking for a refresher and some new ideas.

This workshop is a twilight session aimed at KS2 teachers who would like some practical ideas for using ICT to support learning in Art.

Who is this workshop for ?

This workshop is a twilight session aimed at KS2 teachers who would like some practical ideas for using ICT to support learning in Literacy.

Who is it for ?

This course is aimed at teachers, teaching assistants, SENCos and school governors who have an interest in supporting a child/children on the autistic spectrum.  Participants are likely to have little, or no, knowledge of ASD, but have the desire to find out more and share their experience(s) with others. During the day there will be opportunities to consider strategies specific to participant’s own work.

Who is this training for?

Primary school teachers who would like to further develop the use of mathematical talk as a way of improving children's understanding of mathematics but who would also like to explore the potential of ICT in order to do this.

Course details

This one day course is designed mainly for science and technology technicians who will be carrying out electrical inspection and testing in schools and colleges, but who have limited electrical knowledge. It may also be appropriate for other school staff who carry out electrical inspection and testing.

All delegates will need to bring a cardboard box – the bigger the better!?!

Teaching Science as part of a creative curriculum. Science touches many areas of the curriculum and can effectively be taught together with other subjects. This practical day will give you the opportunity to learn new science skills and share practical ideas with colleagues.

This course is designed for mathematics subject leaders to provide them with analytical skills to review assessment information and support to write clear and concise mathematics action plans.
