Bring on Level 5 & 6 Maths

This course is designed to be hands-on with delegates 'doing' lots of mathematics throughout the day. This will enable delegates to not only personalise the content to strengthen their own subject knowledge but also to appreciate the learners' perspective.

During the day we will:

• Try our engaging, practical and easy-to-use resources and approaches to learning
• Explore ways of providing effective opportunities for rich dialogue
• Identify common mistakes and misconceptions
• Learn some useful strategies for encouraging learners to be active participants in lessons and be responsible for their learning
• Explore the progression within mathematics
• Evaluate the resources available and create your own ideas to use with your learners
• Find ways to consolidate learning
