This privacy policy sets out how STEMworks Ltd uses and protects any information that you give STEMworks Ltd when you use this website.  This has been updated to take into account of the GDPR.

STEMworks Ltd is committed to ensuring that your personal data is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Personal data

STEMworks Limited does not collect any personally identifiable information about you through this website e.g. name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, unless you provide this voluntarily through contact forms, emails or other means.

Any contact details that you give to us via on-line forms, telephone, fax, e-mail or letter may be stored on our private company database. We will not share this information with 3rd parties unless they are directly involved in the project you are participating (e.g. funding bodies, delivery partners).

We will only contact you about projects you have been involved in previously unless you provide consent to do otherwise.  You can remove consent at any time and manage your communication preferences using this form.

What personal data do we collect and store?

We may collect the following information:

  • name and job title
  • contact information including email and business postal address
  • other information relevant to delivery of projects/workshops etc.
  • For residentials/visits we may need to obtain basic medical information, including for example allergies, dietary requirements and medication details (this data is permanently deleted within one month of the event)
  • Social media posts with personal identifiers, including photographs captured in private spaces (including schools), are subject to consent.  We will only post images on social media if consent is provided.

We will store information for no longer than 2 years from our last point of contact.

In the case of children and in line with the GDPR, we will obtain consent from those with parental responsibility before holding any personal data.

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information for the following reasons:

  • Deliver projects.  For example, to deliver a workshop in a school we will need a teacher’ s contact details.
  • Internal record keeping.  This is so we can assess projects.
  • If you have provided consent we may contact you about additional projects/events/opportunities you might find interesting.

Security

In line with the GDPR, we are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.  We will inform you of any data breaches.

How we use cookies
