Following the successful Challenge in 2018, we are pleased to be able to offer the QinetiQ Robotics Challenge workshops again.
QinetiQ is a company of scientist and engineers committed to understanding, developing and progressing technology. QinetiQ has expertise in science, engineering and robotics which allows them to produce solutions to the world’s most challenging problems. They are passionate about inspiring the next generations of STEM individuals and are proud to be sponsoring this competition. In this exciting and engaging interschool challenge, students will be introduced to the fascinating world of robotics. They will be given the opportunity to construct their own robot, and be taught the necessary programming skills. Students will the compete in a series of increasingly difficult challenges testing their teamwork, communication skills and resilience.
STEMworks will be visiting schools during the Autumn and Sprint terms to deliver full day workshops, where a team will be chosen to represent the school at the final at QinetiQ, Malvern Technology Centre.
