Workshop length: full day
Working in teams of four, students are challenged to use digital tools and new technologies to tackle climate change in their local area. This activity encourages students to develop their employability skills. For example, listening, speaking, problem solving, creativity and teamwork.
Students will work through the design process to research, design and develop a prototype. Once they have created their prototype, it is then time to enter the Dragon’s Den and communicate their findings as a group presentation.
Through the completion of this workshop, students will also be able to achieve a CREST Discovery Award.
STEMworks will provide all materials for the workshop.
