Lockheed Martin Engineering Challenge
at the Royal International Air Tattoo
Calling all secondary schools in Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, and Gloucestershire!
We are delighted to offer your Year 9 students an incredible, fully-funded opportunity to participate in the prestigious Lockheed Martin Engineering Challenge Day.
This in-school STEM workshop brings learning to life with an exciting space-themed challenge. Students will work together to design, test, and refine solutions involving robotics, electrical circuits, and construction skills, presenting their innovations to a panel of judges.
Highlights of the Challenge:
Fully funded by Lockheed Martin and RAF Charitable Trust
Open to up to 60 students per school
Winning team advances to the grand final at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) on Saturday, 19th July 2025
Free RIAT tickets for the winning team and two accompanying adults
Your school’s role is simple:
Host the workshop at your venue
Supervise participating students
Ensure the winning team attends the grand final
